Equipment Rental Agreement — Terms

These are the standard terms governing every equipment rental. The specific rental dates, items, and pricing are confirmed in your order. The binding agreement is signed electronically via OTP after payment.
1. Parties
The Lessor is Elvaro SIA, registered in Latvia. The Lessee is the individual or legal entity who placed the rental order and signed the agreement electronically.
2. Rental Conditions
- Rental is available exclusively to active VIP Club members.
- Minimum rental period: 1 day.
- Maximum concurrent rentals per member: 5 items, combined value up to €300.
- Rental fees are charged per calendar day (or fraction thereof) as specified in the order.
3. Equipment Condition
The Lessee confirms the equipment is in working order upon receipt. Equipment must be returned in the same condition, clean and with all accessories included. Normal wear and tear is accepted.
4. Lessee Obligations
- Use equipment only for its intended purpose.
- Not sub-let or transfer the equipment to third parties.
- Return equipment by the agreed date and time.
- Notify Elvaro immediately of any malfunction or accident.
- Not attempt to repair equipment independently.
5. Late Returns
If equipment is not returned by the agreed date, additional rental days are charged at the same daily rate. Elvaro reserves the right to charge the payment method on file automatically for each additional day.
6. Damage and Loss
The Lessee is fully liable for any damage beyond normal wear, loss, or theft of the equipment during the rental period. The compensation amount equals the current replacement value of the item. Elvaro reserves the right to charge the payment method on file.
7. Electronic Signing
This agreement is executed electronically. By entering the OTP code delivered to your registered email or phone number, you confirm you have read, understood, and accept all terms. The electronic signature constitutes a Simple Electronic Signature under Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 (eIDAS) and is legally binding under Latvian law.
A PDF copy of the signed agreement — including the signature timestamp, OTP hash, and technical device data — is emailed to you immediately and is accessible from your account.
8. Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of Latvia. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Riga, Latvia.
